Something "Unconventional" is coming to Chicago to the Heartland Cafe on Friday, October 24.   Unconventional Tour: Making Waves 2008 is a mashup of live music, media, film, politics, featuring the elclectic electronic duo from California  The Away Team, plus Chicago’s own  Swizzle Tree "acoustic" and Jungle of Cities (acoustic) and very special guest  hitmaker Jim Post who penned the song "Reach out in the Darkness." There will be a “Free Speech” Contest with prizes, for the best 2 minute rant. This Unconventional Tour will also make stops in Santa Barbara, Albuquerque, Austin, Little Rock, Tulsa, Bloomington, St. Louis, to mobilize and energize voters and talk about the issues which may not be in the national dialogue -- a people’s “unconvention” to put the party back into politics.  The show starts at 8:00.  For more information: www.heartlandcafe.com
